The Black Clouds and Underdogs tour was peak industrial emo: From Under the Cork Tree multi-platinum, 'Sugar, We're Goin Down' inescapable, and a package — All-American Rejects, Hawthorne Heights, From First to Last, the Hush Sound — that put the entire Warped-to-arena pipeline on one St. Patrick's Day bill in Worcester. Every generation gets its package tours; John, who'd seen the 1991 Lollapalooza, took Jonas and Mickey to this era's version and let the record show both.
