The moment
Traffic reunited exactly once — Steve Winwood and Jim Capaldi, twenty years after the band dissolved, touring Far From Home through the summer of 1994, including a Woodstock '94 slot. Chris Wood was gone and nobody pretended otherwise; what remained was 'The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys' stretched across a waterfront park at dusk. There was never another Traffic tour — Capaldi died in 2005 — so this single summer was the entire second life, and John caught its San Diego night.
