The Gilford amphitheatre near Lake Winnipesaukee opened August 16, 1996 with a Johnny Cash concert. A 2002 renovation roofed the main seating and grew the site to 9,000: 5,997 covered seats, 540 reserved lawn, 2,850 general lawn. The names run Meadowbrook Farm, Meadowbrook Musical Arts Center, Meadowbrook U.S. Cellular Pavilion, Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion, and now BankNH Pavilion.
