A 180-seat listening room at 181 State Street, at the gateway to Portland's arts district. It opened in 2007 in space that had been the Center for Cultural Exchange and took its present name in 2010, when it began operating as a nonprofit. It runs more than 200 performances a year, mostly folk and bluegrass but reaching into jazz, soul and spoken word. Some sources give the capacity as 200; the venue says 180.
