Opened October 20, 1926 on Hollywood Boulevard as Carter DeHaven's Music Box, a legitimate theatre, and later a movie house under the names Guild, Fox and Pix before closing in 1977. The Nederlanders reopened it in 1985 named for Henry Fonda. Goldenvoice took over in 2012 and renamed it the Fonda, running it as a roughly 1,200-capacity music venue.
