The Killers are an American rock band formed in Las Vegas in 2001 — Brandon Flowers, Dave Keuning, Mark Stoermer, and Ronnie Vannucci Jr. Hot Fuss (2004) arrived fully formed, a synth-and-eyeliner debut whose 'Mr. Brightside' became one of the most durable rock songs of the century, and Sam's Town (2006) traded Anglophilia for Springsteen desert-scale. Two decades on they remain one of the last bands their size built on singles everyone actually knows.
