The moment
Editors were touring An End Has a Start — the album that made them Britain's arena-bound heirs to the Bunnymen sound — but for John the bill read bottom-up: Louis XIV, the San Diego band whose records wore his design work, opening a gilded Boston theater. It's the last Louis XIV show in the archive, the end of a thread that runs from the Casbah in 1997 through Convoy, Scala, and Central Park. Comp tickets, with Jonas. Sometimes the opener is the headline of your own story.
From the time
- An End Has a Start
“The 2007 UK #1 that carried Editors — and this support bill — through American theaters.”
