The moment

Rabbit Fur Coat was the 2006 album where Rilo Kiley's frontwoman stepped out with the Watson Twins and a stack of Laura Nyro and gospel records and became Jenny Lewis, singular institution. Ten years on, she reunited with the Twins to play it front to back in theaters — the anniversary tour as a victory lap for a record that had quietly become a generation's comfort album. The Wang's gilded room suited it: torch songs that had earned their chandelier.
