Opened in 1925 on Tremont Street as the Metropolitan Theatre, a Clarence Blackall movie palace seating more than 3,600. It became the Music Hall in 1962 and home to the Boston Ballet, then the Wang Center in 1983 after a gift from Dr. An Wang. The Boch family's naming sponsorship arrived in September 2016.
