Ben Kweller is an American songwriter from Texas who was a major-label bidding-war prodigy at 15 with the band Radish, then reinvented himself in New York's anti-folk scene with Sha Sha (2002) — boyish piano-pop with grunge muscle. He has recorded steadily since, run his own label, and returned to the road in 2025 following the death of his teenage son Dorian, transmuting the loss into Cover the Mirrors.
