The moment
Dr. Dog announced in 2021 that this tour was the end of the road — not of the band, but of the endless touring that had defined two decades of basement-harmony psych-pop. So the House of Blues run was a long goodbye: every 'Lonesome' and 'Shadow People' singalong carrying the weight of last times. John's fourth Dr. Dog show, thirteen years after catching them in a Montreal club — and the thread didn't die: Toby Leaman turned up in this archive again in 2025, opening a Press Room bill.
