Built for $6.4 million by local sportsman Bob Breitbard and opened November 17, 1966. It has been renamed repeatedly — International Sports Center, Sports Arena, iPayOne Center, Valley View Casino Center, and since 2018 Pechanga Arena. Capacity depends on configuration, from about 12,920 for hockey to 14,500 for basketball and 16,100 for boxing. The city has designated the New Formalism building a historic resource.
